Acceptance of Terms
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") forms part of, and is incorporated by reference into, the OVGC Terms of Service ("Agreement"). All capitalised terms have the meanings given to them in the Agreement. By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
OVGC may update this AUP at any time by posting a revised version on its website or through the Merchant Dashboard. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated AUP.
Prohibited Activities
You must not use the Services, directly or indirectly, to process or facilitate any Transaction involving Products, services, or activities listed below.
Illegal or Non-Compliant Activities
Anything illegal or non-compliant under applicable laws, regulations, or payment network rules, including anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing (CTF), consumer protection, privacy, intellectual property, tax laws, or card scheme requirements.
Prohibited Services & Products

Counterfeit goods or unauthorised replicas

Cracked software or pirated content
- 3
Unauthorised resale of licensed or subscription-based products
- 4
Unauthorised IPTV streaming, carding tools, or malware
- 5
Adult content, pornography, or sexual services
- 6
Illegal gambling, betting, or lotteries
- 7
Controlled substances, drugs, or drug paraphernalia
- 8
Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or military-grade equipment
- 9
Multi-level marketing (MLM) schemes, Ponzi schemes, or pyramid sales
- 10
Products or services that violate payment network or card scheme rules
- 11
Any activity involving sanctioned countries, entities, or individuals on OFAC, EU, or UK sanctions lists
- 12
Products, services, or content that promote hate speech, violence, terrorism, discrimination, or extremist activity
- 13
Deepfakes, manipulated media, or synthetic content used for deception, fraud, or reputational harm
Restricted Activities
The following categories may be processed only with OVGC's prior written consent and may require enhanced due diligence, underwriting, and/or additional contractual terms.

High-value in-game items or virtual currencies
- 2
CBD or hemp-derived products (where legal)
- 3
Travel, event ticketing, or reservation services
- 4
Charitable donations or crowdfunding campaigns
- 5
High-value luxury goods such as jewellery or watches
- 6
Pre-order sales where goods/services are not delivered immediately
- 7
Any Product or activity that OVGC identifies, or for which OVGC receives credible notice from a rights holder, as infringing third-party rights (including copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, or other proprietary rights). OVGC may suspend, remove, or disable access to any such Product or Merchant Account at its sole discretion.
Abusive, Fraudulent, or Harmful Use
You must not use the Services, directly or indirectly, to engage in any of the following:

Submit Transactions you know or suspect to be fraudulent, unauthorised, or otherwise invalid

Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to generate or simulate Transactions
- 3
Attempt to bypass, disable, or tamper with OVGC's fraud detection, KYC, or compliance systems
- 4
Engage in phishing, scams, or other deceptive practices targeting Buyers
- 5
Harass, threaten, or abuse OVGC staff, partners, or other Merchants
- 6
Place an excessive or disproportionate load on OVGC's or its partners' infrastructure
- 7
Launder or disguise transactions, including passing unrelated payments through your account
- 8
Operate multiple accounts or straw merchant structures to evade monitoring, reserves, or risk limits
- 9
Maintain excessive chargeback or refund rates above thresholds set by OVGC, card schemes, or regulators
Card Scheme and Acquirer Compliance
In addition to complying with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and the above, you must also comply with the following requirements:

You must not engage in any activity that is prohibited by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or other card network rules.

You must not submit Transactions that are incomplete, unfulfilled, or fictitious.

You must not use the Services as a payment facilitator, intermediary, or aggregator without explicit written consent.

You must not split Transactions to avoid authorisation or fraud detection limits.
- 5
You must not engage in activity that could cause OVGC, its acquirers, or card networks to list you as a high-risk or terminated merchant (e.g., MATCH list).
Cooperation and Evidence of Compliance
You must promptly provide any documents, product information, or transaction records requested by OVGC to verify compliance with this AUP, the Agreement, or applicable laws. Failure to provide such information may result in suspension or termination of the Services.
You must also cooperate fully with:

Law enforcement authorities and regulators if OVGC is required to share information or records

Card scheme monitoring programs for chargebacks, fraud, or compliance
Enforcement
OVGC may take any action it deems necessary if you breach this AUP, including:

Suspending or terminating your Merchant Account
- 2
Withholding or reversing payouts
- 3
Cancelling or refusing Transactions
- 4
Reporting activities to law enforcement, regulators, payment processors, or card schemes
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any activity that violates this AUP, you must immediately notify OVGC at compliance@ovgcpayments.com.
