This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the prohibited activities and content restrictions for merchants using OVGC Payments. Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
2. Prohibited Businesses
The following types of businesses and activities are prohibited from using OVGC Payments:
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Weapons, ammunition, and explosives
- Counterfeit or pirated goods
- Money laundering or terrorist financing
- Ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, or fraud
- Unlicensed gambling or lottery services
- Adult content involving minors
- Human trafficking or exploitation
- Sanctions-violating transactions
3. Restricted Activities
The following activities require prior approval and may be subject to additional monitoring:
- Cryptocurrency exchanges or trading platforms
- High-risk e-commerce (dropshipping with high chargeback rates)
- Subscription services with free trials
- Telemarketing or outbound sales
- Multi-level marketing (MLM)
- Tobacco and vaping products
- Pharmaceutical products
4. Transaction Limits
Merchants must operate within their approved transaction limits. Unusual spikes in transaction volume or value may trigger review. Merchants must notify OVGC Payments before significant changes to their business model or expected transaction volume.
5. Fraud Prevention
Merchants are required to: implement reasonable fraud prevention measures, respond promptly to dispute notifications, maintain chargeback rates below 1% of total transactions, and cooperate with OVGC Payments fraud investigations.
6. API Usage
Merchants must: keep API keys confidential, not share API keys with unauthorized parties, implement proper error handling, respect rate limits, and use the API only for its intended purpose.
7. Enforcement
OVGC Payments reserves the right to: suspend accounts pending investigation, terminate accounts that violate this policy, hold funds related to prohibited transactions, report illegal activities to relevant authorities, and modify this policy at any time.

If you believe a merchant is violating this policy, please report it to compliance@ovgcpayments.com.
